Haiku su seta – silk scarves by Nerodiseppia
The ink mixes with water, the hand accompanies the brush in a blur of harmonious movements. The color takes shape. There’s a box over there, on the shelf. Memories are in there. A trip to Florence. And fragments of dusty instants. And here they are, atmospheres. The photograph of a moment. And then the sunsets. Outside the sun leaves room for a new night, while the day that has yet to pass is only waiting to become a new story to be told. Certain places that are really far away, but within the realm of fantasy everything seems to be so close. Even the ocean. And the sand. That sand that sometimes believes itself to be a book, just when the footsteps create paths and turn into words, leaving marks that the waves’ water decides to steal. And who knows how many words are lying on the seabed. Maybe this is why fish do not talk. It’s raining. The raindrops fall on the windows. It’s an intese rain that blends in with the colors of the air. Tropical scenography. But here we are not in the tropics. In the meantime, the shadows are melting, revealing all those secrets that the trees shyly hide.
So, it is from all of this that Haiku su seta (Haiku on silk) arises, the new project designed and realized by Nerodiseppia. It’s a project that starts from paper, brushed and colors. And then meets words, words in verse. And ends up on silk, with the desire to wrap with stories all those who wear it.
